A Playful Planet carefully inspects every item and takes every precaution to ensure that items are safe and in good working condition. Therefore, ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

  • Who decides the pricing?
    A Playful Planet will establish the "list price" for items based on current retail prices, taking into consideration the age and condition of the item.

  • How long is the consignment period?
    60 days from the date the goods are listed for sale. After the first 46 days, the goods will be marked down 40% for the remaining 14 days. No exceptions.

  • Can I just drop off items any time?
    Items must be dropped off by appointment.

  • Do you accept clothing?
    No, not at this time.

  • What is the age range for items?
    We accept items for children ages birth to 12 yrs.

  • Do you mail checks?
    No. Payments will be made within one week of the end of the consignment period and are available for pick up during regular business hours.

  • What happens to my things at the end of the consignment period?
    You may choose to have your unsold items returned to you in which case you will need to pick them up. If you don't want your unsold items, they will become property of A Playful Planet, and will eventually be donated to a worthy cause at the discretion of A Playful Planet.

  • Where do you send items to be donated?
    Items are most frequently taken to Cradles to Crayons. Local Head Start programs, or day cares are also places I check for needs. If I hear of a place that is in need of good items, I will always look into it. I'm always open to suggestions!
